We aim to only have factually correct information on our site, although lots of extra care is taken when writing about plants, sometimes errors may occur. We use fact checking tools after writing to ensure that our guides are correct, however, sometimes things can be missed. If you spot any incorrect information, mislabelled plants or words in the wrong places, please let us know as soon as possible. We aim to correct any errors within the timescale of 14 working days from the date we reply to your email.

United Kingdom Return Policy:
Returns: We're happy to accept returns of both defective and non-defective products within 14 days of delivery. To return an item, contact us for a return's authorization number. All returns are sent to our head office: The Houseplant Shop, Brookcroft, Brookville, Thetford, IP26 4RB, UK. Please keep proof of delivery in case the package gets lost in the post.
Exchanges: Product exchanges are accepted with a valid returns authorization number, which can be obtained by contacting us via email.
Item Condition: All returns must be in the same condition that they were when they were dispatched, new, unopened, and unused. Plants must be packaged carefully to avoid damage during transit, and a 24-48 service must be used to avoid damage to the plants with long transit times. If plants arrive back damaged or in bad health due to the customers' error, The Houseplant Shop cannot be held responsible, and no refund will be given.
Returns label: It is the customer's responsibility to print a returns label through the courier of their choice; we recommend using a tracked returns service, as we cannot refund goods that are not returned to us, and we can't be held responsible for returns that are lost in the post. We will refund any return postage costs for faulty items on the provision that a receipt can be provided showing the cost and destination address of the return.
Restocking Fees: We do not charge restocking fees for returns or exchanges.
Refund Timeframe: All refunds are processed within 14 days. The time it takes for your refund to appear on your bank balance varies depending on your bank, and which payment method was used. Most refunds appear back on your payment method within 3-5 working days, but this can take longer with some providers.
Dispatch: Items are usually dispatched within 5-10 working days, depending on weather. Plants are typically posted at the start of the week, therefore some orders may take longer to dispatch, depending on when you purchase them.
Delivery: We cannot be held responsible for courier delays and if we know a plant will sit in the post due to strikes or local staff shortages at the delivery office, we will wait to send plants out until we know they will be delivered to save them sitting in the dark in the post.
